18 For if I go into the field, behold the slain with the sword: and if I enter into the city, behold them that are sick for hunger also: moreover, the Prophet also and the Priest go a wandering [a]into a land that they know not.

19 Hast thou utterly rejected [b]Judah, or hath thy soul abhorred Zion? why hast thou smitten us, that we cannot be healed? We looked for peace, and there is no good, and for the time of health, and behold trouble.

20 We [c]acknowledge, O Lord, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.
